Bubble counter oil

I was going to try some oil in the bubble counter as the water keeps disappearing.

Would olive oil work?

Yeah, I just use canola oil.

I can't remember what I put in mine, but it's a veggie oil of somesort - it's been in there for 2yrs now.

As you know, in order to count the bubbles one forces them to rise through a fluid. Since water evaporates with the co2: oil can be used.
