Fishful Thinking
Looking for some fertilizer tabs for my sword plant that I could buy at the gardening or hardware store (to save some $). Suggestions?
catshanon
I was suggested Jobe's plant spikes by members of the forum and they have worked well for me. I used to break off the spikes in 3 pieces and push the broken off pieces deep into the ground. Do not use too many of them as that would result in an algae spike. Ruadh
Safeway, big box stores, any where that sells plants.
werner
Look for the palm and fern ones- slightly lower NPK than the other varieties.
jvision
The last time I picked up some Jobe's fertilizer spikes was at Wal Mart. If you can't find the Ferns & Palms one, use about 1/4 of a stick and stick it into the substrate right to the bottom - about 1" away from the plant.
