Its a new mark on him. maybe it was from getting into the net. That was the hardest part. the male has around a 7 inch disk, the female a lil smaller like 6 or so. Now i need to figure out whats gonna live with the laticeps full time. I was thinking the gar when hes a lil bigger. Anyone have any ideas? JLake Posted January 11, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 11, 2011 yeah the ranger pleco tried to own that wafer but was soon surronded by a dozen or so red back scraper fry and had to retreat. The rangers are awesome, huge sailfin like dorsal. I love the spotting, cool thing is they dont hide. the dominant 2 hang on the glass in the front middle of the panel. haha always right in my face. They are a lil more work than the average freshwater fish but worth it. I hope to own these two rays for many years.
