VERY NICE LOOKING FISH !

very similar to my geos and sound like a great community fish.I was wondering if anyone has experienced these cichlids?

also called......t. maculipinnis,blue firemouth or mexican firemouth

I've kept something similar (T. sp. Blue Mextica). Very much like a Geo, and got on well in a 135 community I had w. large tetras, corys, geos and plecos. They even spawned w/o fiddling w. the water.

thanks,i've been thinking of adding these to my collection and they are very brightly colored.....would look good with my geo tapajos

BAs had the Blue Mexticas a few years ago, but I'm not sure where you'd get the eliots - I see them on Spencer Jack's list very rarely.
