kimmi7
Ok so I am having "issues" with my places and yoyo's playing in my sand and up rooting my plants. I am wondering where is a good place to get root tabs an will they help?
Vallisneria
Root tabs? Root tabs are usually a type of fertilizer. I don't think that will help with the uprooting from your loaches. Or are you talking about some type of plant anchor?
ubr0ke
It may help to add root tabs but i wont guarentee it will work... you could try laying rocks around the base of the plants...
laurensdad
aquarium central has tabs in stock. i do not know if they would help you get more roots though. I am assuming your thinking more roots the less the plants will come out?
kimmi7
Not really lol just trying to find somehow to keep them down
Vallisneria
Try putting some larger pieces of rock around their roots, or driftwood.
Ishkabod
rocks worked in my smaller cichlid tank and in my koi tank so try that first. small flat river rocks i found were best since they didn't sink as easily in the sand/
kimmi7
I have tried rocks but will try and find some smaller ones in the sand
Tbarabash
I buy these 1.99$ bags of rocks from ikea, get probably 100-150 rocks of various sizes (not too big but good workable sizes) and zip tie any floaty plants to them. Works great for anubias nana petite
