Vallisneria Posted June 18, 2011 Report Share Posted June 18, 2011 Yep, thats normal as sometimes plecos will change their coloring. I had a BN pleco that was a regular BN pleco but he would change his pattern from plain dark brown to a camo pattern(dark brown with beige patches, like your pic). I also saw this a couple times when I had a common pleco years ago. Not sure if its a mood thing or just them trying to blend into their surroundings better.
