I've heard/seen reticulated hillstream loach, and just hillstream loach..

I have both Hillstreams and Burmese loaches.. While my Burmese are new and I haven't watched their eating habits much, my hillstreams will eat NLS if they can get their mouths down to the bottom to eat it before the others...

Both loaches also love algae! They eat it in excess off most anything (rocks/smooth surfaces), but have been eating it excessively off the glass of my tank since I upgraded to T5HO's and had an algae explosion :P I've read it and seen it first-hand, a bit of algae makes 'em happy :)

I know some people leave rocks on water near a well illuminated window, so they grow algae, then these rocks are moved to the tank with the loach, so it can feed on the algae. I guess you can develop a good rotation system to keep growing algae all the time.

There is a whole sub category in the link below dedicated to Hillstream Loaches.

Loaches.com has been around almost as long as the internet, and is THE place for info on loaches:)
