Bubble Wall?

You don't need it for oxygen, for that you want decent flow and water movement. So if you don't want it for looks, just pull it out.

Try to find a suction cup with a ring on it. Slip the bubbler through and stick the cup on the bottom glass.

Take 2 flat pieces of slate and place the corner of them on the curtain and bury the rest in the sand. the slate won t be heavy enough to kink the hose but the shape will do a better job of not being moved off whereas a rock can be rolled or tipped much easier. Suction cups work BUT only of you dont have the sand in the tank when you put them in and have something to attatch it to thats small on both ends

Bubble curtains do a really great job of stirring up any debris off the bottom of the tank so the filter can pick it up
