Ron
Cool, never seen a chocolate shrimp before. What species are they? They are a Neocaridina, I believe developed from Painted Fire Reds. Blue Dwarf Cajun crayfish how big do they get? They (Cambarellus schufeldtii) are similar to CPO. Nice lookin shrimps... I like the chocolates. Thanks, I really like them. They came in looking great so if they darken up a little once they settle in, I will be very happy. Eugene
Is it necessary to heat there tanks?
Ron
Is it necessary to heat there tanks? Who's tank? Actually it doesn't matter as I don't really heat any of my tanks. My CRS, OEBTs and BDCC are on my bottom shelves giving me a temp of 69°C to 72°C and I have my Neos on the middle and top shelves as they are more tolerant of higher temps. This is my first winter in my new house so I do have a heater in my CRS and Blue Rili tanks but they are mainly used as thermometers. I do have 4 heaters ready to go into action if I need them.
