ridersfan Posted November 14, 2011 Report Share Posted November 14, 2011 hi in my chiclid tank the electric yellows are rubbing on the gravel and on other decorations in the tank. my question is why are they doing this is it someting i need to be concerned about?? Jayba Posted November 14, 2011 Report Share Posted November 14, 2011 There could be several reasons for this. If there is ammonia in the water causing irritation of the gill? Ich is could be another reason, but if you cannot see any white spots on the fish I would suspect Gill Flukes. I would treat the tank with Jungle Labs Parasite Clear.
