PistolPete
Does anyone know where I can get some sort of solid color background. I bought a used tank a while back and it has a cool plastic or vinyl background. I would like to replicate this on a larger tank. I already tried sprawl mart with no luck. fishclubgirl
It might be sign vinyl (which is what I use for the best price, free!!!). Try a sign shop(if you don't have any luck, pm me as I'm in the sign industry).
PistolPete
you know what it prolly is sign vinyl now that i think of it!
Jaykit
It's more permanent but I've found that spray paint on the back of tank works great. No wrinkles or worrying about water between the vinyl and the tank.
Doc_Polit
Go with "limo black" window tint. It works great!
PistolPete
Great idea Doc u the man! Easy to apply? Or will it look like those kids with bubbles in there tints from do it yourself home kits cam i buy it from crappy tire or do i have to hit up a tint shop
blink
Tint isn't too hard to apply to car windows and sticks well as long as you use heat so on a nice flat, clean surface like a tank it should be pretty straight forward. Just go slow and make sure everything is CLEAN.
Fisher
I saw a 70g that had a tint back. It didn't have any bubbles in it; looked good. I'm a fan.
