Well Ive givin up on salt...had a beautiful reef for 8 months.... HATED it.... Going back to stingrays and arowanas lol

So now i have a 300 gallon full of salt...all the pumps, plumbing, sump ect ect and a giant bio reactor I would like to use for fresh aswell....

What is the best, easiest and cheapest way i can do this without going through 600 more gallons of water before i fill her???

Any advice is gold so thanks in advance :)

The only thing that probably won't work is the skimmer - FW isn't dense enough to foam (unless you're adding salts like some people do for Rift Lake). I have used filters on FW tanks that were taken right off a SW tank, and it seemed that the bio kept working, but you may have to re-cycle the tank. If you're planning on keeping fish that do not tolerate salt, then you probably should fill it, run it, drain it, then fill and cycle. Otherwise, you could get away w, just a single full.
