patmonza
Hi I was hoping some one could help me out. I have brown algae and was wondering how to combat it and what fish are good for eating it. Thank you in advance Edited November 23, 2012 by patmonza
cullymoto
amano shrimp, bushy nose pleco eat it well. A better solution is to pinpoint the cause and elimiante that. Could be just as simple as less hours of light in the day.

I totally agree !! try to eliminate the cause which is usually too much light or a nitrate problem is often the case as well
flyfisher
If its a new set up brown algae is common it will sort its self out on its own,but bristle-nose plecos love the stuff.
