SuperGuppyGirl
So I have my lovely trio of A. Biteaniatas and was wondering if I added A. Cacatuoides to the tank would cross breeding occur? Is a hybrid possible or am I just being a worry , thank you
Jayba
They are both apisto's so theoretically it's a possibility. Whether it happens or not is another story
SuperGuppyGirl
Pretty much what I thought Jayba, but just the females look almost identical and don't want to add to all hybrids currently in the hobby'. Big shock nothing on the internet.
jvision
They're from different complexes, so the chances of them mistaking each other are low. Once mature, you should be able to easily tell the females apart - the bitaneata should be quite a bit longer/more slender bodied.
