SilverWolf
I'm starting a hospital tank and would like to see if I am able to get a better bulb so I can have a low light plant in there. It is a 1G all inclusive tank and the lid says Rating: AC 120V, 60HZ, 5W. Its a small screw in bulb. I've attached a picture, sorry it's blurry, don't have a good camera. Not sure if I can do this or not, but thought I'd ask. I don't have the option of spending extra money besides the bulb. If I can do this, I can, if I can't I'll accept the lack of plant and get a fake one.

cullymoto
In my opinion; I'm thinking that a 5w would give enough light at a low ceiling such as a 1 gallon, would be okay for 1 low light plant. At least worth a try. Trying to think of places that might carry a stronger light that would fit the socket I come up with appliance places, specialty/contractor electrical stores... Good luck

Cgy_Betta_Guy
was thinking dollar store as well but someplace like Rona or Home depot might carry something like that for appliances too.
