jvision
I'm moving at the end of the month and was going to move a pair (I currently have 6 or so - probably only 1 female) into their own tank to "try" to spawn them at my new house. Well, I just happened to be looking in the side of my tank thinking of which large piece of driftwood I should sell, when I noticed something... I don't know how many fry there are, or even where in the tank they spawned! The tank is severely overgrown...

jvision
Managed to catch a dozen fry. From the number I missed, I'd guess the spawn to be around 20... that's if they ALL liked hiding on the glass. Who knows, there could be just as many hanging out in the plants! From their size, I'd guess they've had their yolk sacs absorbed for a couple days - they're pretty thin. And with all the adult rainbows in the tank, I'd think they'd be easy pickings if they were anywhere in the open. Tho, their shape and color help them to blend in quite well. jvision
Managed to pull another 4 out, plus saw at least another dozen in the tank - they're quite hard to catch and are getting better at diving into the plants!
