Pike Cichlid Acclimitization

Hi,

I got a tankful of south american fish from a fellow moving, including a pair of teen/adult pike cichlids (different kinds, 7 inches each). They were downsized from a 100 gallon to a 40 gallon tank. The cichlids freak out every time I turn on the light, open the tank lid or pretty much to disturb the tank. I'm just wondering if my tank is too small or if they haven't got used to the new tank. I've had them for a month now. Any help is welcome! Thanks in advance.

My Red pikes - juvies hang out in a group of four and cruise the tank! Wolf pack but they are sure interesting as they have a leader and a definite pecking order!

Will 2 WC Zebrinus attack the smaller ones and the others? I have two 25cm and four red atabapo at 15cm? 300g tank with smaller bleeding hearts (3") and some large Megasemas and Winemilleri Geo's mixed in?
