rudy
Coolest thing I have seen in a while. When I saw it it was good as sold. Until the guy at Big Als told me that they must be kept solitary. I seriously wouldn't mind getting one. How big of a tank would I need?? albert_dao
Tim, check out http://www.tonmo.com. They are down right now as I type this, but it is the biggest online resource for Ceph information. Also, http://reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=38 That should give you a good idea of where to start.

dunl
12-18 months, and lock the top of your tank. I've heard of training them to stick a tentacle out of the top of the tank to take food. Very cool.
albert_dao
Like $25. Cuttlefish are much, much cooler though, but they're also much harder to get in.

Michael Roth
we got 4 cuttlefish eggs, first one hatched today :> yes, that is a swimmer, and yes, that is an airline behind him. Very wee. Makes a pea puffer look like a fahaka. Edited October 4, 2005 by Michael Roth

albert_dao
Hey Tim, I don't mean to preach or anything, but that shark is going to need a tank for itself and Big Al's shouldn't even be carrying those things outside of special orders... Anyway, dammit all to hell, I'm going down there and grabbing some of those cuttlefish. Well, when I say some, I mean one.

Michael Roth
I wussed out and bought a shark egg See I laid down the law on Candace last weekend, and said "no shark eggs." I am looking forward to seeing it grow up though, you will have to post lots of pics. You also need a 'fricken laser beam on its head.'
