Majestic_Aquariums Posted October 4, 2005 Report Share Posted October 4, 2005 Word of warning-(not that I have ever built a tank) The black silicone is usually masked off inside the tank, that's how they keep a nice "clean" look to it. It seems that the GE silicone I stuff has been used by lots of people to seal up their tanks. I think some people on here have used it, lets hear their experiences. Not at all...GE specifically OKs 3-4 of their silicones for aquarium use, including "Silicone I"....but not "Silicone II", so I assume that there is a reason they deem the former to be OK for aquariums and the latter to not be.
