gunner Posted March 29, 2015 Report Share Posted March 29, 2015 Hi , just looking for some input on what light cycle to use in a planted discus tank , i have been running lights for 16 hrs on , 8 off , just for the ease of feeding the fish , i work 12 hour shifts , 16 hrs is to much for the plants and fish , would like to have 12hrs off over night , rest break for plants and fish, been reading some about 4hrs on , 4 hrs off , 4 hrs on then 12 hrs off , I am running kessil LED with there spectral controller.
