jumpsmasher
d-oh! ya i don;t really trust those digital timers much ever since they killed a few of my lights - switched to old style analogue timers and they seemed to be much more reliable! Ron
Well !!!! For some reason my timer for my co2 malfunctioned ! It did not turn off last night ..... Looks like 90% of my shrimp are dead ! Last time I ever use a digital timer ! You had shrimp in there already? Have you tested the ammonia/ammonium? ADA Amazonia will leech quite a bit for weeks, I usually cycle my Amazonia tanks for 4 weeks minimum with several complete water changes to get rid of the ammonium. The-Influence
Yes I had shrimp and fish in there . The water and filter was already established and everything was fine .i would not have put livestock in if was not safe to do so .... It was the co2 .... As I had to unplug it to turn it off .... Iceturf
That sucks dude, I'm surprised that a solid state timer would be of such low quality.

jumpsmasher
What is your lighting schedule like? Are you dosing any ferts? How often do you do water changes? Remove as much as you can manually and reduce lighting and ferts. Edited April 21, 2015 by jumpsmasher
