maligne
Hey all. I have a 55 Gallon going right now, I have two acaras and a small colony of L Similis. The acara's don't bother the Shellie’s but the Shellie’s aren't as active as they were when they were by the selves. Especially the smaller females. They don't stray very far from their shells now that they are in with my acara's. I am thinking about taking the Acaras out of the 55 and turning it into a small Tanganyika Community. I was wondering if any of you experienced Tanganyika enthusiasts could maybe give me some stalking ideas? Looking forward to what you have to say Thanks a bunch Cheers
xyzfish
The acaras are south american cichlids and the L Similis. are african cichlids. You need to chose the type of fish you want and read up on the requirements needed.
jvision
If you have some rock work some rock dwellers would be nice - Julidochromis, Neolamprologus. You could probably get some young N. leluepi from the same place as your similis. Cyprachromis leptisoma would be a nice mid-water addition. They come in lots of different colors. Synodontis petricola would be a nice add, too.
