Milan
Here are some links to what may be related to Aquanerd's problem: http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumap...read.php?t=7250 http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumap...read.php?t=6757 Anyhow, testing your tap water parameters would be the moment of truth, in my mind ... Aquanerd
Well I now know where my nitrates are. Still there! I did a controlled test with a 5 gal pail, added just the right amount of KNO3 to bring it to 15ppm, and then tested it with my red sea test kit.. What’s it read.. ZERO So my test kit is funked, which is the second that I have bought that doesn't work. This is getting annoying, :grr: is there a trustworthy test kit out there? Or am I going to have to fork out the dough and get a LaMotte or Hatch test kit? What is a guy to do????? Milan - Thanks, yes I read those before, APC is a great plant site. But I am glad I found this site, better to relate to ones in our own community. Edited December 2, 2005 by Aquanerd
Milan
I've never had problems with AP, but suppose any is good if passes the KNO3 test. If not, simply take it back to the fish store as defective...
