You'd have to really be plugging it to them for that to happen, IMO. I was feeding massive amounts to my cichlids for a few months before starting NLS, so much that the pellets would give a bit of a red puff in the water while feeding.

Not one of them turned "pinkish", including my red zebras.

FYI - the expiry date on that Naturose was several months ago. If I was you, I'd toss it.

Below are some pics of fish that were fed NLS that was laced with very heavy doses of Naturose astaxanthin, and there was no noticeable difference in color whatsoever. After several months on this special diet the person stopped coating the NLS with Naturose, and the fish all retained their color. Also, none of these fish became 'pinkish' or had any abnormal coloration when fed this heavy dose of astaxanthin. In other words, adding astaxanthin to NLS is a waste of time & money.
