aquanaut
I noticed today that my yellow lab has started to turn grey near it's jaw and gills. Is this normal? This fish is in a 90gl malowi tank with water changes weekly and is about 4-5 inches long and 2 years old. Very nice coloring before this started. All other fish doing well and fed NLS. RD.
Most likely a male that is displaying dominance. Not exactly a desirable trait in this species (black in the face area) but one that seems to be fairly common amongst certain strains of yellow labs. sharon
dominance might be the correct answer, my dominant male Lab sports a grey moustache . :eh:
jvision
My dominant Yellow Lab looks like a Samouri! He's got a Black goatie and looks like he's always angry w. a black bar through his eyes.
aquanaut
Great! The worry is over. I thought it might be the start of something more serious.
