How blue has this female turned? A slight glint of color around the head or full on blue like a male would be?

I've had some females show a bit of color in the fins or a slight shimmer of color around the head.

I know i've had dominant female Mbuna take on male coloration but i dont' think i've heard of it in peacocks.

Any pics?

Merhinks you had a very submissive male that is only now showing his true colours.

this male?? carried eggs for 3 years stopped produceing fry 3 months ago. started changing colour at that time.....alpha male died a week ago

Really? That is strange. I have never seen a female colour up quite that much.

I have heard of some fish being able to change sexes in the absence of males or females, I am not sure what kind they were., but usually they would be juveniles not mature females that have already produced
