  1. Rudy, the only thing I can think of is another damsel. However, if you need to get rid of them, use a barbless hook and some line.
  2. Can't see the ads unless you're a member.
  3. Filter feeders = free filtration for your tank. If you don't like the look of them, send them to the sump.
  4. Kelly, there ARE dwarf lionfish....not sure how small you could go with one of them, though....

    I got fry

Now you need to get your tanks breeding.
  6. What kind of livebearers are they? Congrats>
  7. The nori is cheap and lasts a long time Jonah.
  8. I did put the eggcrate in the bottom to protect from rockfalls, and yes, I have had sand over top of it in many tanks. It doesn't stop them all from digging, but if they topple a rock, it doesn't go through the bottom. Better idea is to place the rocks first, then the sand. That way the sand rolls around them, but not under and keeps them stable. Thanks.....looking for one?
  9. First suggestions is that I'd like to see the spreadsheet as well if possible.
  10. Chris, thanks so much for working on this. I'm sure it will become one of the most helpful tools on the forum.

    Red Texas

Guess the easiest of the above to find would be a parrot, then.
  12. If you can find some fast enough dithers/feeders, they should be out chasing them more, right?

    Red Texas

Same as always, though...conflicting reports. Does anyone know for sure which breed is used for these? :smokey:

    Red Texas

Okay, I'd like to try my hand at breeding these. Conflicting info though....are they a cross of the Green Texas with flowerhorn, or with red parrot? Thanks. PS: Please don't start the hybrid debate in this thread. I'm looking for info on breeding them, not whether it's a good idea or not. Thanks.
  15. This should help: http://albertaaquatica.com/index.php?showtopic=6071
  16. It states unseasoned on the wrapper, but I'm not sure of the brand. I bought one of those "lettuce holder " things from Petsmart or something, and used to toss big sheets in the tank all wraped up in it. For smaller or fewer fish, maybe just jam some into the live rock somewhere.
  17. Go to the Superstore, and use the unseasoned Nori...perfectly fine.
  18. Hi Sean, welcome!
  19. Where's the fish link? I see invertebrates, but not fish....?
  20. Here's a tip that might kill you....leave the filter on while you do the water change. The water doesn't drain out, and keeps enough to cover the impeller. As the water level rises on refilling, the water is automatically sucked back up into the filter.
  21. If Chris is going to this trouble for all of us, I'm going to trust him. He's used the word "unbiased" over and over again, and although both he and I have our favorite stores, I'm sure he will post accurate results regardless if they roast someone. If you can't trust the results, don't look at the survey.
  22. Then just list the brand, specifics and sizes as well....easy to do.
