  1. The species that this thread is about is not a mouthbrooder.
  2. If the parent's don't consume their spawn, I'm betting that those Clown Loaches will.
  3. Congratulations! You're doing something right
  4. You will be fine with any of the dwarf rainbows, and, for that matter most any of the medium rainbows would be fine as well.
  5. No, you do not have to be a member, everyone is welcome. (except the shoe/betta fetish people)
  6. This, coming from a person who worships shoes and bettas
  7. I am sorry to hear about the thermometer. Any equipment put into the auction is supposed to be in working order. If it isn't working, it is supposed to be labeled as such. As far as the lack of adult peacocks, they don't seem to show up very often at our auctions. When they do they are generally in excellent condition and do go for a good price.
  8. They could be either ambiacus, agassizii or lamberti. These 3 species are very difficult to differentiate from each other. Collection origin would be great to have but I think is probably impossible to get in this case. Check planetcatfish Cat-eLog for the pictures of the different species and see what you come up with. Since you get to look at them live, I'm going to assume that your assesssment will be more accurate than a picture. I'd be interested to know what identification you arrive at.
  9. I picked up some artificial spawning grass, some Najas, and one of the best Long-fin Lyretail male swordtails I've seen in a long time. Kudos and thanks to the breeder.
  10. Just make sure you bring your self and your vittatas :welcome:
  11. I would love to try some from the "old country". Thanks Ed, Paul
  12. Auction only, you do have the option of paying a nominal fee to have any item bumped up to be the next item auctioned off.
  13. Congratulations! You could try squeezing a sponge filter into their tank.
  14. Does this title have anything to do with 40 days and 40 nights?
  15. Correct... http://www.planetcatfish.com/corydoras_metae
  16. Have you thought of sending this thread to the store?
  17. Your friend is very talented
