If you use the KILZ stuff make sure you use it in a very well ventilated area!! I made that mistake once and never again..

Why are you planning on using 2+ protein skimmers? Are they that crappy...?

Ocellaris clowns are more readily available and usually cheaper than the true percs IME. Also pretty much most of the Ocellaris clowns you will see in the LFS will be tank raised now.

In the past ive just used a foam filter insert for the same filter and sliced a hole in the side and put that slid that over the intake kindof like a glove. Worked like a charm for me.

They did have one at AI a few months back. Very interesting creatures to watch.

Not all Emerald Crabs will eat Bubble Algae. Its a 50 / 50 shot that the one you buy will love the stuff.

I have one of those little anenomes as well. It hasn't gotten much bigger than a nickel so I leave it be. Like Andy says you may want to get rid of that bubble algae before it spreads to plauge proportions. That will work but the real advantage of having the external overflow is it takes up no room in the tank. Talk to Harvey (newguy) about Auto-Top-Offs. He makes them and his prices are really good for the whole setup. You might have to pm him on Canreef though. No worries m8 we all have to learn sometime. If you don't ask you won't ever get an answer...
