Whats a V.C.R ? -roll-

Yeah I can't imagine pushing around an 1800 pound + top tank heavy tank, you may get it started but it would be fun trying to stop it and once the wall stops it the following tsunami wouldn't be fun either. If you wanna see what it's like go outside and push a civic around probably the same weight

I put mine on the sand near a rock and he will attach and make a new tunnel under the rock. Just keep them away from hairy mushrooms mine killed my FD

Depends on what you wanna keep a reef tank? or a fish only with live rock aka FOWLR if so the 40 watters might do it if ya wanna reef jump in with both feet and go metal halides aka MH depending on dimensions I would go with dual 250W MH myself you can keep softies, LPS and SPS under these HTH

Sounds like it might be cyano

Im going to jump in here also my buddy has the same problem there is no algae what-so-ever but the water is nuclear green it looks really cool like some has dyed it. He has no live plants and plastic orniments, which came from other tanks. The inhabitents are mixed cichlids 2 big honking comets (8"?) and really old 13" pleco and about 50 mystery/apple snails. There is a window nearby but it doesn't affect the other tanks in the room.

Well this has been my 3 month project....yeah I'm slow I took all these nice pics of the build up.........and I can't seem to friggin find them  ....soooooooo here is the almost completed pics The cabniet frame is made outta 2X4's and 1/2" oak and the hood is 2X2's with 1/4" oak all the trim and rosettes are oak. Since the pics I put on 4 coats of urathane and painted the inside of the hood and cabniet white just to seal it sorry for the size my free adobe trial expired so I don't have any photo editing after the trim is put on Hood before the trim is put on After the trim Hood open And since I don't have "wee" arms I could fit them in around the reflector so I have the top swining open too Lots-o-room After the stain...turned out little darker than I wanted Hood
