  1. My two are in my tank with my jewels, jacks, and severums and no problems there.
  2. Currently breeding: Poecilia sp. "Endler's" Lamprologus ocellatus SW ocellaris clowns (they've laid a second batch of eggs, the first disappeared)
  3. I think I saw the first one probably about 6 months ago. I bought them probably last April or May. I now have another batch of fry. Raymond
  4. Lol, yeah for some reason fish just love those water changes. Most will spawn after doing one. I know that is one trick also to help your fish to spawn. How big are your jewels ray? My female is about 3.5 inches and my male is about 4 inches.
  5. Great story. Its pretty much the same with me. I bought two red jewels and they happened to be male and female and then they mated. I think I've gone through about 5 spawns now. It seems they always seem to get in the mood right after I do a water change.
  6. Aquasafe is the one that I have. They are out of BC and sell through ebay. Raymond
  7. Nature's corner always has nice plants.
  8. That's about it, Canreef.com has lots of good info and before you even start read up on it.
  9. I usually feed mine after the lights are out by cutting up some silversides and placing them close to the tentacles until they latch on.
  10. I picked up a black calvus, blue dolphin plus a rock and a stick of wood.
  11. Mine eat NLS and spend 99% of the time at the top. My cherry barbs in another tank spend most of the time in the bottom third of the tank. If they cherry barbs went to the top then they might be at risk.

    Hi...

    Welcome to the forum Ange
  14. The geophagus iporangensis that I bought from Nick are doing alright in my planted tank so far, no major remodelling done by them yet. I think rainbowfish and barbs should do alright in a planted tank too.

    New here

:welcome: like I told you lots of info to be found here.
  16. :welcome: Lots of information on this site, and yes beware, tanks multiply like rabbits. I started with one 90 gallon tank when I joined the board, now I'm up to 350 gallons. Ray

    Hello

    :welcome: :welcome:
  18. I know with me that it is a little bit less than half cup per gallon.
  19. I've got both now, 2 saltwater tanks, one with just corals and live rock that I bought recently and the other with live rock, some coral and a few fish. The majority of my other tanks are freshwater. I think I'm up to over 10 tanks now and the python makes water changes a lot quicker now versus the bucket system.
