  1. Post your picture on planet catfish. Birger is a synodontis specialist ( he was at the last CAS meeting) he'll be able to tell you, but he might need a couple more pics. Your pic doesn't look like a pardalis though.
  2. Nice looking Fronts!! They look like pims to me.
  3. I might need to borrow Bandi's new 1300 gal tank!
  4. A big thank-you to Birger for an awsome presentation, I learned alot about synodontis tonite.
  5. You will love the syno luccipinnis!!!(actual petricola are quite rare, but "dwarf petricola" are actually syno luccipinnis) They are awsome to watch, just make sure you get at least 6 as they are a lot more active when they're in a decent sized group.
  6. Have you checked with Fishclubgirl yet?
  7. what you've got will be strong enough for a 25 gallon. But it would be 20x stronger with 2x3's directly in between the two frames so you're not relying on the shear strength of the screws.
  8. Just thought I'd ask because it doesn't say in his post.(if it was a coffee table the support would be fine) I would highly recommend putting upright supports in between the top and bottom frame nailed or screwed to the uprights you already have in place. It doesnt matter if they're 2x2's or 2x3's. Screws are not intended to have that kind of lateral force on them, they will break. With the support of the 2x2's inbetween the upper and lower frame the weight will be directly transferred down to the floor through the wood rather than through the screws.
  9. Are these cabinets intended to hold a lot of weight?
  10. How big is the tank? you could put a powerhead in the tank to keep them busy, my trophs calmed right down when i put a big powerhead in my tank.
  11. I have no Idea, I have a hard time getting him to sit for 1 min at supper or even reading a book!!! He loved the attention though.
  12. Cant decide if Triton(murman) is real or what!??! He thought he looked like a shark though!!
  13. I'm looking for something a little bigger thanks
  14. What size is it and where did you get it from?
  15. As long as you don't have any rocks that are going to fall and break the glass, i'd just get the water out and carry it over. I'd only take the substrate out if i was trying to make the tank lighter for carrying.
  16. My wife gave me an underwater camera for fathers day, I haven't taken a good picture yet! It's pretty tricky!
  17. If you go to edit your profile, you can change your title.

  19. That is very impressive! I will keep that in mind next time i'm buying some accessories!
