Nls Grow .5mm pellets work well for me, i think they have a little higher fat? content. Good filtration and 40% water changes weekly should do the trick.

Great, their egg sacks are gone now and they're eating like little pigs. Also had another female spawning two days ago (the 4th). :thumbs:

Stripped her at 10 days, there were 10 eggs but one was almost disintegrated two were dead and one had some fungus. just moved them from the tumbler to a grow out tank on the weekend. Also had another female hold with a huge mouthful, but she swallowed them on day three.

nice work!!! sorry to go a tad off topic but when do your fronts reach a mature breeding age? Male needs to be around 7", they reach this size at 3 or 4 years old and females need to be around 5", somewhere around 3 years old.

With regular water changes and feeding 2 or 3 times a day, the'll grow pretty fast. Congrats and Enjoy!

Hi, I just got these guys in this last weekend and two of them just developed this little white thing. On one of the fish it is underneath one of his scales and it is a little swolen and the other fish, a little white thing is protruding out between two scales. I have treated the tank with melafix and pimafix, and added 4 tbls of aquarium salt. The fish are still eating normal and swimming normal but I want to get rid of this as fast as possible. The little spot above the gill is what I'm worried about. thank you for looking Sheldon
