Toirtis, do you know the $$$ Riverfront is selling them at? Or has anyone been there to see how much they are? Thanks in advance. I haven't a clue what a killifish sells for. I went and had a look at the killies the day that Christian posted that they had arrived. They did not have a price on the tank. The one guys said they will be priced at 20 bucks a piece.... I think I got them for under 10 a piece at Petland when they did have them The ones that I got from Petland were at least a half year older. But they are pretty rare in any of our local fish stores. TheGr8Blade - when I see some of the good killie eggs on aquabid I will try to pm you and let you know my experience with that particular breeder..... Moose

I collect killies.. I've hatch a few varieties that I picked up off of aquabid. Starting around June the weather will be nice enough to start bidding again. I've also gotten some from Toirtis that he picked up for me from the Edmonton auction. I ended up with 3 males.. haha They are all still doing great. I have some Northobranchius rachovii eggs that its just killing me to wait to hatch.... The killies at riverfront all look around a year old? Just a guess. Hatching them is super cool and I recommend trying it at least once to see if it floats your boat.. Its pretty cool to see fish that you hatched from an envelope.. haha Moose

Great point.. Also if it is one male to one female the female may be stressed and not wanting to drop fry.. You could try adding few females to keep the male more occupied and not bothering the single female as much. Moose

Nope, Harvest Hills. They used to live in my back yard, but we put a fence up. We're thinking about building some kind of little "rabbit" hole for them to still get in the back yard, but think that might cause some chaos with my dogs. -Hideo Hey those are my rabbits! OK i have to tell this story.... I go into big al's to look at this thing.. Go to the counter.. Its hiding... I move closer.... Just as I see it with my eyes.. The exact second.. Someone speaks over the intercom.... Scared the ** out of me... Think it took my heart a half hour to slow down.. haha...

For me personally I had a bit of an algea bloom that I took my time down to 10 hours.. I might creep it back to 12 or now that the tanks is all happy again or I might just leave it there for a while. Moose
