another suggestion could be a rubber lip pleco.

After many hours of rubbing my husbands legs and begging he has finally said yes to me getting a bigger tank. He has said no to a 110gallon that I wanted but has said yes to a 55 gallon. So last night I started planning some of the ideas up. I want to put in the tank gouramis, tetras, albino BNx3 and 1 rubber lip pleco. I'm going to be selling my mollies and platies as well as my black skirt tetras because the 20 gallon will be taken down and put away until the goldfish come back in from this summer. I don't know where I am getting the tank. I'm thinking Aqua giant since I like the seamless look and price they have. I'm thinking of going Sand and Aqua soil since I want plants. How much am I thinking for an injected Co2?????? Anyone have a background idea??? I dunno what I want to do. I am thinking about adding in some rocks... but I was thinking of some slate. Does anyone know a great place to get drift wood??? More coming soon.

Ok as a few of you may or may not know I have been battling with staghorn algae. I noticed today that almost ALL my plants have turned yellow! :shock: I have been dosing with flourish excel and flourish comprehensive supplement for the planted aquarium daily to battle the S/H. Its not getting any better and now my plants are turning yellow! I've read over Warning signs of Nutrient Deficiency and I'm still puzzled. What should I do since I have been dosing the amount the bottle says to use. So what should I do? change ferts? add more then normal? Just scrap the plants and start over? Sooooo frustraited with this DARN tank! I'm going to be switching out the tank to a 55 in the next few months. But until then I have to look at my 20 gallon. Well Any ideas?????

Last night being very bored while my husband took over the laptop to play his silly game, I decided to take some photos of my gold fish. They are for right now in a ten gallon, I'm making a free standing pond in the spring that shoud hold about 50 gallons and that is only temp until we buy our house and build a pond. Ooooh! I wanna play Name that Plant! The mystery plant- I can't remember what it's called, but I think it's a non-aquatic species However, I think your hairgrass is actually Sagittaria subulata, and your swords are really crypts (Cryptocoryne wendtii?) Cool crab! cool... thanks I was told by "other" ppl what there where, I'm still getting into plants. As for the mystery plant... that would explain why it has never really grown to well. What would you suggest I do with it? I could add it to my 1/2 gallon betta tank, half of it would be out of the water. Thanks again. Oh yah there are two crabs I just can never get a good shot of the female.

LOL no neither of my two do, there is shelly the famale and then there is boulder slapper the despicalbe the male. They are mini crabs. And neither of them have ever tried to get out. Your guys there is pretty sweet. Too bad he finally died.

Cute setup.. I agree with corvette, I have a rubber lip and with in a few days I didn't have to clean my glass anymore! I'm going to get another one for my 14 gallon. My otos are just not doing a good job. I love those rocks by the way.
