  11. Rams are real sensitive, and the older they get the worst they handle the move. I used to have a pair in a 35g tank that would raise the fry to free-swimming, but they would get eaten up quickly after that stage. When I tried to move them, the female passed on me and the male looked miserable from that point on...
  12. Thanks so much for the link Val, it really helped me out. I got the GE silicone from Canadian Tire. I did the first two tank last night, took about 20 minutes a piece to clean them up, and then another 5 min to silicone them both up. Best part is, other than lookin nice, clean and professional, they also hold WATER!! Again, thanks so much for the info guys and gals!

  17. Thats the one thing I kind of regret now, was not finding the absoute perfect spot for my 120g tank the first time. now its staying where it is since the tank weighs 210, the stand weight 75, theres a 100lbs (dry) of play sand, and water weighs too much. When I move Ill make sure to locate it in a better spot in my house lol.
  18. i thought it was a good idea to bring peoples attention to some easy BAP points?
  19. If anyone has been participating, or is thinking about participating in the BAP contest, I have two proven breeding pairs of Scarlet Kribensis available for sale, and for any CAS member in good standing, I will gladly sell them for a reduced price of $15 per pair (I have them up for sale in the fish section for $20) Pm me with details. Thanks Vince
  20. the square are their eggs. 4 weeks may be accurate. Nothing eats them so you don't really have to worry. Your population will probably explode till there isn't any other types of snail in the tank, at which point I believe they will start to attack and eat each other. The population should then stabilize to sustainable levels based on available foods.
