:welcome: to AA Mollies are beautiful. Just a quick note that mollies like and need some salt in their environment whereas most other community fish can't handle it. If you don't add the salt your mollies may not thrive and live as long as they should .

I think o2levels at the bottom are low, perhaps put and powerhead near the bottom to really push the water to circulate.

One other point about pond plants is that they need a lot of light .

I doubt they're gone though , look for a little "puddle" of movement on the substrate , usually near where their eggs were. I think they hatched and the parents just moved them .

Spend the extra money and get the brass one. LeeValley would also have them but I got mine at PJ's pets.

I'd soak them first to see if they go stinky. If they do you'll need to boil and bleach them . If not stinky a good cleaning ought to do it.

:welcome: to AA Be careful as to cichlids for planted tanks, as most tear it up lol . You may want to try apistos, rams, angels , kribs, multys etc. Any of the large ones will dig up the substrate considerably.

It does sound like a parasite cyst or scale. If so , when it hatches there will be a lot released. Without seeing it so we can research it I would at least QT the fish and check the rest of the tankmates closely .
