  1. I think it is just an old female c. paleatus
  2. I have actually been lucky enough to get 2 pairs of these a couple months back and have them breeding for me weekly. I have now shifted my methods of raising out the fry and have several in my cory fry grow out tanks. These are very.. very easy to spawn under the right conditions.
  3. It has almost been 7 months since an update.. how about you fill everyone in on what is going on.. seems like alot of people are interested in finding out more about these little guys.

  7. wow.. awesome fish.. thanks for taking those pics for me to see. I really want to try some apistos one of these days, but am not sure the Saskatoon water would be good for them. I would definately need to think about investing in some RO first.
  8. what kind of apisto's are they?? and do you have any pics of the parents.. their tank.. or heck.. even their pot? lol ohh and congrats on the spawn.

  11. i was bored tonight so i busted out the digital camera and started snapping pics.. and here is what i came up with. Corydoras weitzmani Corydoras oiapoquensis Corydoras gossei Corydoras nijsenni S. barbatus (male) and check out his bristles on his cheeks in the next pic S. barbatus (female) Corydoras burgessi C. aeneus (green laser) and from above and one of the fry just starting to show the "laser" line on its back

  14. just looks like a bristlenose to me...
  15. from looking at the pics it looks like it is a normal brown bristlenose to me... and the white tips on the tail fin is just juivinile coloring that disappears as it grows.
  16. damn.. at that price i would have got 6-8 of them.. too bad i am stuck in saskatoon.. would have loved to get some of those.. hope they have some good stuff in stock when i try to make a trip up there this summer.. any chance yo can take a pic of them Valerie??
  17. how much were the bristlenose??? and how many did they have?
  18. that looks like a pretty decent selection of plecos they have there.. will have to try to make a road trip back there in the not too distant future.. was the bristlenose brown with the white flecks on the tail.. or was it black??? any pics Tanker? and how was there cory selection when you were in there??? or did you notice?
