Where's all the bragging and comments that make me jealous? What did everyone get?

I have two boxes of cichlid stones, and some wood and fake plants in my cichlid tank...they love the hiding places. The plants break up site lines, and the fry live in the wood( and other places).

I think they are to spead out agression. 1 and 1 would mean that the male would chase the female 24-7. I got rid of 1 male lab, he chased 3 females constantly to the point they were vertical in corners and trees. That being said - my tank now is active, not much agression, and I don't have proper ratios - just lots of hiding spots...

I love the L134 (Leopard Frog) peckoltia Compta. They look really neat, and members post a few for sale at regular intervals. I found this type by going to planetcatfish and browsing pictures, and then reading about them. I've picked out L046, L052, L134 from that site, and have them in my tanks. I got all three from Fairdeal and Jorg.

I've heard of all male tanks looking good with just 1-2 of each you like...

I'll bow to others higher knowledge on this regarding cross breeding zebras. That being said, if you get 4, and end up with more than one male, you could have agression issues. Think labs are recommended 1M 6F, not sure about the others.

Lights a T8, on the other side of plexiglass hood. Water is filled close to the top, and they do break the water at breakfast and dinner - but only briefly. I also have kanaplex. It helped an issue in my other QT tank.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm constant in my weekly water changes. I gravel vac and water change weekly on all my tanks.

That's just it, they don't seem ragged, they seem 'melted'. It looks like shrink wrap under a lighter. Only the dorsal fin. Other than that, no rips, tears, or anything. Well...I have some Paraguard I can use.

Really? Damn. I thought fin rot would have some white blemishes. This tank was a QT tank. Hi temp, salt and water changes. Currently only has 5 fish, over filtered and gets about 50% weekly changes.

Well, I figured once again, I'd access the greatest database I know of. I have 2 angels that look like their top fins are melting. It's really weird. I've attached pictures. Is this just a trait, or is this something that I've caused? Water is good, temp is good. Fish are eating...a ton...NLS. Thoughts?
