Chums still has 3-4...about 1" each, and only $9.99.

Price has everything to do with colour, then size...a yellowtail or green Asian aro at 5" will go for <$700, but the same fish at 30" will be $2500, whereas a potentialsuper/chili red gold crossback will go for $5000-$9000 at 5", but $25,000+ at 30". Check out this amazing blue-base, super red.

Agreed...if the Won Bros. were cheaper, I would have them in almost all my tanks.

No kidding...these beasties can hit 40"+ (and be a bit cranky), and the last pair I had went from 4" to 18" in under a year.

Well, unfortunately, mostly due to the confusion and indescision (as well as the chaps that could not make it), it failed to coalesce as planned, but a number of the locals bumped into each other at Riverfront.

I am still up for it...even if it is only 3-4 of us, why not? And hitting Riverfront will be fun. What do you think is a good time? Noon? Meet at Tom's place or in the Riverfront lot? The date on this one was just not the best for a number of Calgarians....Chris will be in Sask, Rudy is off hunting, etc.

Having two auctions on the same day is terrible as I would expect that many, like myself, would prefer to participate in both auctions (I always make an effort to hit the Edmonton auctions). I have seen gatherings completely succeed from many groups, so why should this one be any different?
