Hey All - Just curious where you found galaxies...I am looking for 12-24 of them, but have yet to see them for sale anywhere. I will be in Edmonton next week; so any pointers would be appreciated. My school of cardinals started out at 80 and is now 100+. The school of galaxies started out at 10 and is now over 30, might be a war for the galaxies that they can't win. I'm not too worried about the shrimp. The whole idea of them was they reproduce and serve as food for the galaxies to reproduce. The cardinals are doing just fine with reproduction on NLS grow & brine shrimp. I might have to leave it at 2 tanks running. i hav mine 17 galaxys with a betta 2 green tiger barbs 2 cories 6 rummy nose 5 cardnals and 3 blue rams everyone gets along just fine in a 45 gal

humm mixed reviews about this stuff i tried melafix marine in my saltwater to get rid of ich and it worked uesd it for a week and nothing died not even my cleaner shrimp seemed to be good stuff just my 2 cents

i had a bad case of ich a few months ago i used API melafix marine turn off skimmer and follow instuctions it worked in a week for me and didnt kill any inverts

i had the same prob with green water in my salt tank 75 gal i used a uv for 1 day and it was clear.

i would be up for a trip, i would love to catch a golden.I seen some types of hibread trout on a fishin show they had caught a rainbow crossed will a brook and it was bright green really cool lookin they showed 4 diff crosses they all were funky lookin and all were caught in the wild would be cool to catch a diff cross than a cutbow lots of thoses in the elbow.

i hav a 48 inch double on my 75 salt and its awsome have had for 6 or 7 month and blubs are still good

those peacock bass look big enough to eat

it looks like it covered with grape calurpa (sorry cant spell) you shoud take the white stuff out its not good to hav in there when its white,was told its toxic to fish and get a pair if coral life gloves you dont want to touch a bristle worm

my salt and fresh water tank used to be a few feet apart and i keep finding my trumpet snails in the salt tank not sure how they got there but hav since moved the tanks apart farther and havent found anymore in there.

was out a my buds by redwater we were messin around on his quads and we seen some type of giant woodpecker it was 0ver 12 inchs long,i grew up out in the country and never seen one before it was cool.

get about 75 to 100lbs rock keep the filter ,for lights with a fowlr you could get away with a good t5 ho setup for any corals you will most likly need metal halid for a 90 you may want to upgrade to some saltwater spec power heads go see colby at elite his shop his on the south side of big 4 just off maclead trail he will help you out to get set up and he wont sell you anything you dont need.
