Kevin
Try pushing either top corner, you will probably get some wiggle. I just built a similar stand (exactly the same design except I have centre collumns), and I found that I needed to have diagonal support across the ends once I put water in. I accomplished it by screwing a piece of ply wood onto the two ends. Kevin
dunl
Nelson, that's really nice for a simple design. Really nice.
Sam Chicklets
Try pushing either top corner, you will probably get some wiggle If the joints are properly constructed and the screws are placed properly placed this will not happen. BTW what did you use for a finish? It looks great.

The whole thing moves a little, but that's because it's sitting on thick carpet and there's really no weight holding it down yet. That would happen even if the stand had plywood on all sides, at least until I get some water in the tanks. I finished the wood itself with a few coats of Verathane.
