Shayesmommy
i just needed to share my excitement. Last night my discus laid again. woke up this morning to find some eggs left Not many but some. But now that my water is where it should be at im hoping to make it to the next stage. I had made a cage for after since there was no way to make one for before. Just want to see if they will make it this time. Shayesmommy
Thank you. Usually they eat all the eggs by now. so thats why im completey shocked to still see some. maybe they will end up good parents after all. they started laying about 10 last night. So its been almost 12 hours. which is the longest her eggs has lasted ever besides when i stole them away I actually seen this female once follow another female around who was laying eggs (alone) and eat them after she laid them. They were unfertile but she was the only fish to eat the eggs of any fish.

Shayesmommy
well i caged them so they should be but the buggers must have attacked it because the cage was knocked over and the eggs gone. -roll- -roll- Pretty sad when the fish are smarter then me. Maybe next time. back to the drawing board.
