The 1st baffles look a little close together, but it looks good. The sump on my 40 gal (20 gal sump) is set up very similarly.

What purpose dose the mud have in a sump? I know that mineral mud for saltwater tanks helps release the trace elements that are needed for corals.

Brad

Brad I would assume Paul will use this as Salt.

Paul,

Only suggestion i would have it have a chamber for filter floss, or padding. I know nobody uses it for salt, but I personally think if you have it, it will keep your water way clearer and if you toss it regularily the nitrate build up will be minimal. If you don't use the floss all the time it still wouldn't hurt to thow an egg crate baffle in there for the times you need it.

Just my thoughts
