Just wanted to say hello from Northern Alberta. I just recently started a 76 gallon aquarium with the rounded seamless glass. It is pretty cool, it give the effect of a drop off when you look directly to the back. Pretty cool! Anyway I was wanting to just stock it with Cichlids but not sure which ones would be most compatable. I have raised Discus and Angels before but that is my experience with Cichlids. So any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.....

:welcome: to AA

Africans are very colourfull and can make quite a statement. I personally love south americans.

I think a tank of severums , firemouths and green terrors is fun to watch for long periods of time. One of these days I'll have a dovi or 2. Sue

Welcome to A.A. There are a lot of New World cichlids that look great and have character.

Welcome!!!

Try west african cichlids. They don't get very large, are extremely colourful, and if done as a biotope, the tank will have a bunch of unusual fish on display as well.

Have fun with whatever you choose!!!!
