happeboy
The carbon is for these has ridiculous amounts of dust, and now that my hands are black. I will ask, can you get bags of the approximate size for these filters I can fill with a better carbon? I can't seem to find anything for renas... it took at least 30 hour to 1 carbon pack. :boxed:
Vallisneria
Just buy a media bag that fits in your filter. It doens't have to be made especially for Renas http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS/ctl36...ewType=Category Pretty much any LFS carries them. I suppose I can use the 6x10 and just fold it over.... And it would be better then what its like now
darrin34
ditch the carbon and use that compartment for something else i never use carbon in my tanks unless it is used for removing medication
fshkpr4evr
Try Fluval Lab Series OptiCarb. It is a synthetic product that works much better than conventional carbon. It rinses well and lasts up to 3 months. One container is good for 50 gal. I have used this product for a year now and am very satisfied with it.
