Hey just looking for some thoughts here.

I have a single fish in a 10 gallon (a key hole cichlid) and I was think of doing the same sort of idea with a 25 gallon but I was thinking of a bigger fish.

Any thoughts or suggestions about a single bigger fish for a 25 gallon?

Cheers!

If you can find an adult angel or discus, that'd look great - especially w. a fully planted background! :)

How about an angel or hrp?

A firemouth would be a good choice, too!

Or, how about a Montezuma Swordtail :D

A dwarf puffer! They're the most charismatic fish I've ever owned. :D In a 25g planted you could play "Where's Puffer"

I enjoy a pair of small cichlids , you'd have room to create a wonderful "world" for them. You could have home area, play area, take kids for a walk area. etc. Even though convicts aren't popular due to their ease of breeding , they are so fun to have and watch. They pair up with whoever they're with and are awesome parents. The Dorsengers I have are two pairs in a 25, and although they are physically small , they own every inch of that tank.
