fishlover
Just want to share a couple pictures of the recent spawns. The 1st picture is from 2 spawns which were not very sucessful I could only save 5 babies in total. The 2nd picture is from the most recent spawn. About 1 week old total 10 babies. Nova
Cool, I didn't know they could be bred in captivity! Shows how much I know, congrats to you those little guys look awsome!
firestorm
Yeah I always thought plecos were slightly harder to breed in captivity. Great little guys, I don't think I have ever seen any that small before. Can zebra plecos go in tanks with african cichlids? I know my tiger pleco was getting beaten by them and had to take him out. fishlover
Some plecos are hard to breed but some are easy. Zebra is not very hard. It just takes time. When they feel comfortable, they will breed. Most Plecos con't do well with african. Plecos can't compete food with african.
