patrick
This is quite the setup. I don't know about the size of the tank but it looks like about 90 gallon possibly more, all glass without moldings, sitting directly on a tiny wood table (old sawing machine?). .. Terrie Lee
That is the stuff of nightmares.
thegrandpoohbah
Looks more like a 33G. Still, I wouldn't want to take that chance.
bosshog
Moldings are more for looks than functionality. I've seen pictures of tanks that are placed on cinder blocks. The blocks just supported the ends of the tanks, with nothing under the middle. Personally I like my tanks fully supported on much more substantial platforms. I'd sure like to be there if the tank did blow, it'd be gooood watchin'!!
Leon71
There is a huge difference between being supported at the ends and supported in the middle. That's a scary one all right.
randy
Looks like there might me some cloth or something simular under the tank on the right side. I would be very supprised it the top of the stand would be truly flat for the tank to sit on. Wonder if the keep the kids away from it? Yup disaster waiting to happen (if it hasn't already) Not one of yours is it.
