Baos
I added plants to their tank. Only they re-arrange their tank every few days. Will grab a plant by the leaf and drag it somewhere else. Has anyone successfully kept plants with fish like this or is it time to get rid of the colony?
Joseph Elliott
I have a 3 in my planted tank and they haven't touched the plants. Maybe try placing stones over the roots, I had to with the heros i had. Unfortunately the heros decided to move the rocks as well so they ended up leaving. jvision
I raised and bread several G. iporangensis in planted tanks. No damage or rearranging at all.
Sam Chicklets
I raised and bread several G. iporangensis in planted tanks. No damage or rearranging at all. Same here, with the exception of when my first pair spawned. They dug up a few smaller plants digging pits for their nest
Baos
Maybe that is the problem. They're trying to spawn again but keep finding bad spots and relocating. My largest clown loach likes to sit with them.
firestorm
I found I couldn't keep any earth eaters with plants, they always dug them up and rearranged them. I even tried placing larger stones around the bases of them but I still didn't succeed. Just my exprience, but good luck
